Gameplay. Tic-tac-toe is played on a three-by-three grid by two players, who alternately place the marks X and O in one of the nine spaces in the grid.

Players compete to align three Symbol Cards of the same color and same symbol, either 'X' or 'O,' in any horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row on a traditional 3 x 3 grid of cards. The double matching feature permits covering cards already in play.
